Strangers Once

We are a tri-cities band with our music deeply rooted in the raw emotion of soul and the gritty story telling of blues, but with a modern twist. Formed in 2024, the band is made up of a seasoned lead guitarist, a powerful vocalist, a tight rhythm section (including drums, bass and rhythm guitar), and occasional guest musicians. 

Delivering an authentic and often raw listening experience, inspirations are drawn from artists such as: Al Green, Teddy Swims, and Marvin Gaye, as well as a variety of other genres that blend a unique listening experience. 

Our origins arise from an open mic night at Omannin's Pub on State Street in Bristol, TN. In the fall of 2024 after our lead singer was recovering from a brain injury that put him in a coma, he was using open mics as a way to practice navigating public spaces again when he was offered a gig in Johnson City, TN. The gig offered him enough that he decided to approach some of the musicians he had met at O'mainnins Pub, and the band began and has been gigging and recording ever since.
